Why there is only ONE thing you need to do…

and one place you have to be today

A message from the Decibel team:

Dear Beloved,

It’s Joey here, I’m the latest addition to the Decibel team! 🙂

Mother’s Day is just tomorrow and in the spirit of celebrating all our amazing mums and all they do, we’ve specially prepared this video:

Here’s the No. #1 antidote to stress and worry

Even if you’re not a mom, we’re sure this will encourage you if you had or are having one of those days where there are 101 demands coming at you but you #justcantdeal.

We’ve all been there and we know how easy it is to be encumbered by the hustle and bustle of life.

But today, we want you to know that a place of worries and anxieties is not where the Lord has called you to be. He wants you to live at rest in His grace, wisdom and strength.

And you tap into that supply when you draw away from all of life’s hubbub and spend a little time with Him, just as Mary in the Bible did (see Luke 10:39–42). Even five minutes will make a difference! There, in the presence of Jesus who liberally supplies your every need according to His riches in glory, you’ll find yourself breathing easy again (see Phil 4:19 AMP).

You might be asking, “That sounds great, but how do I spend time with the Lord?”

By reading His Word, listening to it (perhaps through a sermon!), to your favourite worship song, or simply pouring your heart out to Him.

Friend, there might be a million things on your to-do list, but will you choose to do this one thing today? 🙂 For it will help you do everything else with the Lord’s own joy, peace, and strength!

Cheering y’all on,

Team Decibel
